Why there is a need

The work of many NGOs in India is truly inspiring. However, many face challenges in effectively showcasing their efforts to potential donors and managing their day-to-day operations, including expense tracking and product sales. To address these challenges, Mobile Sutra has developed an innovative solution called NGO Sutra—a simple yet powerful system designed to empower NGOs.


How it Works

NGO Sutra consist of a QR code, a user-friendly Android mobile app, and a web-based admin panel to streamline operations and boost visibility. Here's how it works:


For Donors:

When a donor scans the QR code, they instantly access the NGO’s projects along with photos and videos, right on their mobile devices. A simple click on the “Donate” button allows them to contribute directly to the project of their choice. They receive an instant donation receipt via WhatsApp, enhancing convenience and trust.

The QR code can be embedded on mementos, printed on brochures, or displayed on banners, making it versatile for various events and campaigns.

For Administrator:

Through the web-based dashboard, NGOs can easily upload project details, which are displayed whenever the QR code is scanned. The system also allows for seamless generation and export of accounting and sales reports in Excel or PDF formats, simplifying financial management.

For NGO Staff:

The mobile app can be installed on tablets or smartphones, enabling staff to record daily expenses and product sales effortlessly. It also supports donations in cash or through the NGO's bank-issued QR code. Donors receive receipts via WhatsApp or can have them printed using a Bluetooth or Wi-Fi printer.

Terms And Conditions

These Terms of Service apply to all users of all Apps owned by Mobile Sutra. By using the App, you expressly acknowledge and agree that Mobile Sutra shall not be responsible for any damages, claims or other liability arising from or related to your use of the App.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms of Service, Mobile Sutra hereby grants you permission to use the App, provided that: (i) your use of the App as permitted is solely for your personal use, and you are not permitted to resell or charge others for use of or access to the App, or in any other manner inconsistent with these Terms of Service; (ii) you will not duplicate, transfer, give access to, copy or distribute any part of the App in any medium without Mobile Sutra's prior written authorization; (iii) you will not attempt to reverse engineer, alter or modify any part of the App; and (iv) you will otherwise comply with the terms and conditions of these Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

In order to access and use the features of the App, you acknowledge and agree that you will have to provide details of your customers like mobile phone number. You expressly acknowledge and agree that in order to provide the technical support, Mobile Sutra may access the data you have provided.

Intellectual Property Rights

The design of all the Apps owned by Mobile Sutra and the created text, scripts, graphics, interactive features and logos contained therein are owned by Mobile Sutra, subject to copyright and other intellectual property rights. The App is provided to you AS IS for your information and personal use only. Mobile Sutra reserves all rights not expressly granted in and to the App. You agree to not engage in the use, copying, or distribution of any part of the App other than expressly permitted herein.

The App and its features is controlled and offered by Mobile Sutra from its facilities in the INDIA. Mobile Sutra makes no representations that the App is appropriate or available for use in other locations. Those who access or use the App from other jurisdictions do so at their own volition and are responsible for compliance with local law.

    • What information do we collect? Depending on business requirements , we collect personally identifiable information in some of our mobile Apps. This information is voluntarily provide to us by App users , such as name, address, phone number , location and email address. With your permission, we may also access other personal information on your device, such as your phone book and location in order to provide services to you. We do not own personal data collected in the Apps that we develop for our client. The data collected by such Apps are used by our client as per their respective privacy policy.

    How long do we retain your data? We remove personally identifiable information (such as your name, address, email or phone number) and other preferences associated with your account promptly if you request by email. The data collected by our client’s Apps are retained by our client as per their respective privacy policy.

    Do we share your information? We do not share your personal information with any companies for marketing purposes. This applies to the custom Apps developed for our clients and our own apps. We use the data only for technical purpose and for providing better services.

    How do we protect your data? We take reasonable administrative, physical and electronic measures designed to safeguard and protect your information from unauthorized access or disclosure. Information we collect may be stored or processed on computers located in any country where we do business. This privacy policy was last updated on November 15, 2014. Our privacy policy may change from time to time. If we make any material changes to our policies, we will place a prominent notice on our website or application. If the change materially affects registered users, we will send a notice to you by email, push notification or text.

    Refund/Cancalation Policy

    You can use the App for 15 days trail period. If you are not happy with the App then you can stop App usage and need not pay for App subscription. In case you pay, Mobile Sutra does not offer refunds for the payment for that subscription period. Your subscription will not be automatically continued unless you pay for the next subscription period.
